community, forming
This is day one for this immature effort ... a full description and the like should be forthcoming in weeks or months.

The community focuses on a mix of private/individual residences and collective assets that form the community. The community is to be self sufficient in terms of energy, food, and education. The community is intended to be prosperous by marketing a blend of professional services (mostly computer technology, but other professional services welcome) and environmentally friendly products such as wool, paper and cloth with finished goods and customized hand-crafted products being the focus. The community may also wish to extend its enterprise to services provided locally, such as tree removal with wood products made from removed trees, or some other creative undertaking.

The community assets would be the rural acrage, some production facilities, a community center with a meeting hall, library, technology center and some professional office space. Other community assets would be vehicles, tools, perhaps even boats, mobile homes, etc. The rule is that you don't have to personally own it to enjoy it.

Personal residences should be comfortable and friendly, prividing residents with the ability to have privacy and entertains friends from within and without the community. The community might also have some temporary housing for guests, both the personal guests of residents and business guests.

That's a lot of stuff, but it is a desired end, not a beginning. The ownership structure is uncertain and there could be a few primary owners with most community members being tenant/part owners, like in a condominium or cohousing situation or it could end up being more of the truly communal ownership situation. There is much to learn before deciding.
